Mechanical CAD Engineer:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical CAD Engineer to own and maintain CAD models, drawings, and data management workflows for complex hardware systems. This role requires strong proficiency in parametric CAD, comfort working in large assemblies, and the ability to iterate designs quickly based on real-world feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date CAD models for assigned components and assemblies
- Rapidly update designs based on test results and engineering input
- Produce detailed engineering drawings for parts and assemblies
- Manage and maintain PDM workflows and data integrity
Ideal Experience:
- Proficiency with a professional parametric CAD tool (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Experience working with large, complex assemblies
- Familiarity with CAD best practices and design standards
- Experience routing tubing, piping, or cable/harness systems
- Working knowledge of GD&T for manufacturable designs
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced engineering environment
