Digital Electrical Engineer
The candidate will lead the design, manufacturing, testing, and deployment of space-grade PCBAs, collaborating with software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to deliver robust space communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and test space-grade PCBAs
- Evaluate board architecture and components
- Integrate digital and RF systems
- Ensure compliance with space standards
- Optimize thermal management
- Support rapid manufacturing and iteration
Requirements:
- PCB design with EDA tools
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
- Experience with compute modules (e.g., Xilinx Zynq MPSoC)
- Power sequencing and management
- Developing interfaces (SPI/I2C/UART)
Preferred
- Altium Designer proficiency
- Debugging Xilinx MPSoC systems
- High-speed data conversion & digital interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet)
- Memory configuration (volatile/non-volatile)
- Radiation-tolerant component selection
