Join a venture-backed defense technology startup building the next generation of autonomous UAV systems for mission-critical applications. As a Founding Robotics Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our technology, engineering culture, and product roadmap from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role focused on developing and deploying autonomous flight capabilities, building high-fidelity simulation environments, and pushing the limits of UAV performance.
What You'll Do
- Develop and customize PX4-based flight systems.
- Build and maintain simulation environments for rapid testing and validation.
- Design, test, and deploy autonomy capabilities on real-world UAV platforms.
- Work directly with leadership to define technical direction and architecture.
What We're Looking For

- Deep experience with PX4 (required).
- Strong background in UAV simulation (Gazebo, AirSim, SITL/HITL, or similar).
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- Passion for building complex robotic systems in a fast-moving environment.
