We're working with a fast-growing aerospace company developing advanced spacecraft and mission-critical electronics. They're looking for an experienced Technician with strong PCB assembly, integration, and test experience to help build and validate flight hardware.
Working alongside Electrical and Manufacturing Engineers, you'll assemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and test complex electronic systems destined for space.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, integrate, and rework complex PCBAs to rigorous aerospace standards
- Perform fine-pitch soldering, wiring, harnessing, and connector termination
- Support hardware bring-up, functional testing, and fault diagnosis
- Troubleshoot PCBAs to component level using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test equipment
- Interpret schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
- Work with engineering teams to resolve hardware issues and improve manufacturability
- Maintain quality, ESD, and traceability standards throughout production
Requirements
- Experience assembling and testing PCBAs or electronic hardware in aerospace, defence, medical devices, automotive, or another high-reliability industry
- Strong SMT and through-hole soldering skills
- Experience with PCB inspection, rework, and component-level troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with IPC standards
- Experience working in ESD-controlled environments with excellent attention to detail
