Electrical Manufacturing Engineer - Quantum Startup - Boston, MA
A well-funded frontier technology startup developing next-generation computing hardware is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to help scale advanced electronic systems from prototype through production.
Working closely with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing partners, you’ll support new product introductions (NPI), maintain manufacturing documentation, and drive DFM/DFA improvements across complex PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and release manufacturing documentation packages
- Support PCB design updates, BOM management, and CAD library maintenance
- Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and resolve production issues with vendors
- Develop assembly, inspection, and test procedures for analog/RF and power electronics
- Manage engineering changes and PLM workflows
Requirements
- Experience supporting outsourced electronics manufacturing
- Strong PCB CAD experience (Altium preferred)
- Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and production testing
- Familiarity with PLM/configuration management processes
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
